I’m currently the Head of Design at Wonderist Agency in San Diego, CA.

a brief history

I've designed for higher ed, food start ups, international relations agencies, and lots and lots of dental practices.

Where I've been

After four years of doing design and communications for MIT Admissions, I relocated to San Diego and found myself in an agency design role where I didn't need to simultaneously admit kids to one of the world's most prestigious universities. Before that, I was a mediocre collegiate ski racer going through Boston University's Photojournalism program.

What I do now

I've grown from Wonderist Agency's first official graphic designer to leading the company in all things creative. I manage web, brand, and print design projects incoming from 200+ clients, the vast majority of whom are dental practices. I head up a small, all-women team of graphic designers called "The Felicias." We never miss deadlines and are known for it.

Where I want to go

Sketching, designing, and shipping logos as a full time job has been a dream. But as agency work often goes, ship-to-client deadlines trump all. When websites or brand guides leave my queue and go onto the next part of the assembly line, I want to yell "just five more minutes!," like a teenager snoozing their alarm.

I'm looking for a future where scrutinizing over design details leads to breakthroughs, not billing delays: a team where hours spent researching, iterating, and prototyping are celebrated, not scheduled over. I want to design for the micro while researching the macro.

But wherever I go, I want my collaborative spirit, congeniality, and lightheartedness to follow me. And I want to keep growing no matter what.

other fun stuff

Buffalo, NY born. That means I'm a Bills Mafia diehard, for better or for worse. My favorite shade of blue is Labatt.

I got sick of watching my husband run marathons and eat entire pizzas, so now I run marathons so I can eat entire pizzas.

My office and house are located under the SD airport's flight path, so I've accidentally become an expert plane spotter.
